Behind the Scenes: Dark Barrel Media & MUSE Produces "CADA PASO" - NFL Visa Commercial Starring Isaac Alarcón

We’re proud to share our latest production: “CADA PASO”, a high-energy lifestyle commercial for Visa, created for Latin American audiences during NFL Super Bowl LIX. Produced in collaboration with Leo Burnett Mexico City and Vandalo Brasil, this project spotlights the inspiring journey of San Francisco 49ers offensive tackle Isaac Alarcón—a story rooted in perseverance, grit, and opportunity.

Telling a Story That Matters

Filmed at Contra Costa College in San Pablo, California, the commercial was brought to life under the direction of the immensely talented Martin Escriche. From the very beginning, our team set out to capture not just a brand message, but a human moment: Isaac’s rise from humble beginnings to the NFL, and the values that carried him there—dedication, ambition, and heart.

These are the very qualities that align perfectly with Visa’s global mission: empowering people, fueling ambition, and celebrating the power of possibility with every step—cada paso.

A Vision Made Real

Working closely with Leo Burnett Mexico City’s creative team, we developed a spot that blends cinematic storytelling, sports-driven visuals, and Latin American cultural resonance. Every scene was crafted with care—from scouting vibrant backdrops to capturing fast-paced training sequences with authentic emotion.

The college’s bold blue setting gave the piece a dynamic visual identity, echoing Isaac’s energy and reinforcing the tone of hope and strength.

Why It Resonates

This spot wasn’t just about football. It was about identity, culture, and the strength it takes to forge your own path. Isaac Alarcón’s story became a bridge between brand and audience—especially for younger Latin American fans who see their own potential reflected in his steps.

Producing CADA PASO for Visa’s Latin American Super Bowl campaign was an honor—and a reminder of the stories we love to tell: ones that move, motivate, and empower.
