Overview

“KEEPING TIME” is the first single from Surveen Singh’s forthcoming five-song project: an intimate body of work exploring time, love, longing, growing up, and uncertainty. Written and sung entirely by Singh, the project was developed in Los Angeles with Grammy-nominated producer Anthony C. Bell and guitarist, producer, and engineer Phil Smith.

Singh and director Brian built the video around memory, time, longing, and the different versions of ourselves we carry. Over a 14-hour shoot across Hollywood and Los Angeles, the team created a connected series of emotional spaces—from Milk Bar and Stereoscope in Hollywood to a waiting room, office, geometric architectural space, and a 1960s-style house.
